Prices for Renting Premises at the DIA’s New Domicile

On 1 July 2020, the Danish Institute of Arbitration (”DIA”) moved into new, modern premises located at Midtermolen 1, 5th floor, 2100 Copenhagen Ø.

Rent Rates – Cases Filed at the DIA

In connection with the move, the DIA’s Board has adopted a new pricing structure for the rental of meeting rooms.

When conducting meetings in cases filed at the DIA held at the DIA’s new premises, the following amounts will apply:

  • DKK 4,000 for a full day
  • DKK 3,000 for half a day, e.g. 9.00 AM – 12.30 PM or 12.30 AM – 4.00 PM

In addition, and as usual, catering costs is fixed as per account rendered.

If a meeting is held on a Saturday, Sunday or a Public Holiday/Closing Day, a 50 % increase applies to the price mentioned above. This is due to the increased costs to meeting service.

The new pricing policy applies to all meetings, including pending cases, which are held at the DIA from March 1, 2024 and onwards.

  • DKK 6,000 for half a day, e.g. 9.00 AM – 12.30 PM or 12.30 AM – 4.00 PM

In addition, and as usual, catering costs is fixed as per account rendered.

Terms of Cancellation

Cancellation of the DIA’s meeting room(s) must be done as soon as possible and with at least 30 days’ notice. In that case, the cancellation will be free of charge, except payment for possible catering, etc., from third parties which the DIA has not been able to cancel free of charge.

If the cancellation is made with less than 30 days’ notice, the full price will be paid in accordance with the above rates for the cancelled meeting day(s). In addition, any payment for any catering, etc., from third parties which the DIA could not cancel free of charge, shall be paid.

If the cancellation (made with less than 30 days’ notice) results in the meeting being held later in the DIA’s premises, the price for the new meeting shall be settled at half rate.

When using external meeting rooms, the cancellation policy of the provider concerned applies.
